Podcaster Ranveer Allahbadia addressed the controversy surrounding his remark on Samay Raina's YouTube show India's Got Latent.
On Saturday, he stated that he and his team are fully cooperating with the police. Taking to Instagram, Allahbadia assured his followers that he is not evading the situation. The statement read, "My team and I are cooperating with the police and all other authorities. I will follow due process and be available to all agencies. My remark about parents was insensitive and disrespectful. It is my moral responsibility to do better and I am genuinely sorry. I'm watching death threats pour in from people saying that they want to kill me and hurt my family. People have invaded my mother's clinic posing as patients. I'm feeling scared, and I don't know what to do. But I'm not running away. I have full faith in the police and the judicial system of India. Ranveer."

Ranveer Allahbadia’s statement followed reports from Mumbai Police stating that he was untraceable, with his Versova residence locked and his phone unreachable. He also alleged that individuals had entered his mother's clinic under the guise of patients.
During the episode, Ranveer Allahbadia sparked controversy by posing an inappropriate and unsettling question to a contestant, asking, "Would you rather watch your parents have sex every day for the rest of your life or join in once and stop it forever?"
His remarks regarding parents and intimacy on Samay Raina's now-deleted YouTube show have led to widespread outrage, drawing strong criticism from netizens and public figures alike. The backlash has intensified, prompting authorities to look into the matter, with both the Mumbai police and the cyber department initiating separate investigations.
According to News18, both the Mumbai police and the cyber department are investigating the matter separately and have summoned Samay Raina to appear within the next five days. Meanwhile, Khar police have recorded statements from eight individuals, including Makhija, Chanchalani, and Ranveer Allahbadia’s manager, following a complaint by a BJP functionary. However, no FIR has been registered yet.
