YouTuber and Podcaster Ranveer Allahbadia has come under fire for his recent remarks on a contestant on Samay Raina’s India’s Got Latent. In the midst of this controversy, it has now been reported that Ranveer and his rumoured girlfriend, Nikki Sharma, have gone their separate ways.
Although neither of them ever publicly confirmed their relationship, rumors about their romantic involvement had been circulating for quite some time. The timing of this breakup has added to the ongoing attention surrounding the Youtuber, fueling even more speculation about his personal life and recent comments.
A recent report revealed that Ranveer and Nikki have unfollowed each other on Instagram, sparking speculation about the status of their relationship. This move has led many to believe that the rumored couple may have parted ways. However, Ranveer has not yet commented on the rumors surrounding his personal life.
This comes at a time when Ranveer Allahbadia, also known as BeerBiceps, has been facing significant backlash for his recent comments on India’s Got Latent. During a recent episode of the show, Allahbadia reportedly asked a contestant an inappropriate question involving body parts and suggested an indecent act in exchange for Rs 2 crore.
The controversy intensified when he posed an especially controversial question, "Would you watch your parents have sex every day for the rest of your life, or join once to stop it forever?"
However, the comment posed by Allahbadia is not an original question, it has been borrowed from a recent episode from an American show, Dare or Drink.
In a recent development, Ranveer and Nikki have followed each other back on Instagram but no comments have been made regarding their relationship.
Following the incident, a police complaint was lodged against Ranveer Allahbadia, Samay Raina, and several co-judges, including Ashish Chanchlani, Jaspreet Singh, and Apoorva Makhija.
The FIR alleges that they promoted obscene and sexually explicit content on the show, citing multiple sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS).
However, later, Ranveer issued an apology through a video statement, expressing regret and acknowledging that his comment was inappropriate. He admitted, "Comedy is not my forte," and added that he was simply there to apologise.
He further addressed the concerns of his audience, stating that this was not how he intended to use his platform. Ranveer clarified that he would not provide any context, justification, or reasoning for his actions and was solely focused on offering an apology.
