Ranbir Kapoor, who is set to star in Nitesh Tiwari's Ramayana and Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Love & War, is reportedly scheduled to begin filming for Dhoom 4 under YRF next year.
A report by India Today confirmed that Ranbir will begin with Dhoom 4's filming in 2026.
As per a source quoted by India Today, Ranbir Kapoor will be required to undergo a makeover for Dhoom 4. He is expected to complete his ongoing projects before starting the new film, which is set to begin shooting in April next year.
"The production team is currently looking to lock two female leads and an antagonist for the film. Key contenders to play the antagonist in the film are being considered from the South," added the source.
In addition to his upcoming work in Dhoom 4, Ranbir Kapoor is also slated to appear in Ramayana, where he will portray the role of Ram, with Sai Pallavi playing Sita and Yash as Ravana. Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, this mythological epic is set for release during Diwali next year.
Currently, Kapoor is occupied with filming Love and War, a romantic drama directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, co-starring Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal. The film is scheduled for release on March 20, 2026. Furthermore, Kapoor also has Animal Park, the sequel to the hit film Animal, directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, lined up for future release.
