The first season of Rana Naidu premiered in March 2023, and after the same, the show has been commissioned by Netflix for its next season. The series received backlash for the content, especially from the fans of Venkatesh who have always seen him as a family hero who stayed away from bold or adult content. The second season of Rana Naidu will premiere on June 13, 2025.

Netflix, the streaming service, made a major announcement about the return of the high-voltage crime drama show with the tagline, “ Jab baat parivaar ki ho, Rana harr line cross karega.” The OTT platform’s official Twitter account published the announcement, which declares Rana Naidu season 2’s worldwide digital release on Netflix. What to Expect From Season 2? Rana Naidu revolves around a professional fixer who can do anything for his celebrity clients.

There’s just one issue: restoring his connections with his family is a real challenge. In the end, season 1 saw many confrontations, particularly between Rana Naidu and Naga Naidu, his father, who was jailed for 15 years, played by Venkatesh. Season 2, featuring Rana and his brothers, promises much more drama, more “emotional” fighting, more intrigue and action, and poisonous partnerships.

It’s a race against time as Naga migrates from getting back his position and strives to reunite his children while battling his bullies. There’s a great deal at risk this time; Season 2 will most probably reflect on the toxic father-son dynamic at play in the first season. For those that don’t know, Rana Naidu is the official adaptation of Ray Donovan, the hit American show. The cast and crew of Rana Naidu are as follows:

Venkatesh Daggubati plays the role of Naga Naidu and Rana Daggubati plays the role of Rana Naidu. An excellent addition to the Rana Naidu will be made by Arjun Rampal, who will play the role of the major villain, which will add more excitement to the show.

This season has been created by Karan Anshuman, who also co-directs the series with Suparn Verma. The screenplay has been written by Karan Anshuman, Karmanya Ahuja, Anany Mody, Vaibhav Vishal, and BVS Ravi. The music is provided by Sangeet-Siddharth and John Stewart Eduri. With all the family occupations and truckloads of action, Rana Naidu Season 2 is set to be the most anticipated show on Netflix India this year.
