Sai Pallavi has quietly begun filming for her role as Sita in Ramayan directed by Nitesh Tiwari. As per Times of India reports, she is currently working on the emotionally powerful Ashok Vatika sequence. This part of the story focuses on Sita’s time in Lanka where she was kept captive by Raavan. The scene is expected to showcase Sai Pallavi’s emotional depth as an actress.
Ramayan is being made on a massive scale with an ensemble cast. Ranbir Kapoor plays Lord Ram, Yash takes on the role of Raavan and Sunny Deol will be seen as Lord Hanuman. The film is planned as a two-part series with the first part expected to release during Diwali 2026 and the second in Diwali 2027.
Sai Pallavi is already deep into her shoot, but Sunny Deol recently revealed that he has not started filming yet. He expressed his excitement about the project and praised Namit Malhotra who is overseeing the film’s visual effects. Sunny believes Namit is the right person to bring this epic to life in a believable way.
Yash known for his role in the KGF series, recently completed a short schedule in Mumbai for Ramayan before moving on to his other project Toxic. Balancing two big films Yash is marking a strong return after KGF: Chapter 2.
