Recently, Ram Kapoor, a television veteran, became the subject of circulating rumours that he might be joining the Bigg Boss house for the next season.

To clear up any confusion, the actor has stated unequivocally that he is not interested in the reality show, even if it were offered a staggering Rs 20 crore.

The buzz began after Ram appeared in a series of candid interviews, prompting some fans and entertainment pages to believe he might be preparing for a stint on the Salman Khan-hosted show.

But in a firm rebuttal reported by Bigg Boss insider sources, Ram stated, “I will never ever come in Bigg Boss even if they offer me Rs 20 crore because that kind of show is not for me. That doesn’t mean it’s a bad show — I know it’s a very, very successful show. My point is, I consider myself an actor.”

Bigg Boss, which is well-known for its intense drama and emotionally charged contests, is getting ready for a new season that will feature intriguing new features. The secret room, a well-liked element from previous seasons, is apparently returning this year.

A significant twist in the nomination process adds to the intrigue: rather than contestants selecting nominees, it is thought that the audience will make the decision and housemates will compete for a spot.

While the official lineup is yet to be confirmed, names like YouTuber Purav Jha, Raj Kundra, Faisal Shaikh, Gaurav Taneja, and Tanushree Dutta are among those speculated to participate — Ram Kapoor’s now firmly excluded from that list.

The actor also sparked debate recently over comments about former actress and politician Smriti Irani, referring to her as “huge.”

While his remarks drew criticism online, Kapoor defended himself in an interview with FilmiBeat, saying, “Smriti knows what I meant, and I know what I meant... When you are saying something with a clean heart, and... you are saying something positive about the person who you have regard for — as long as that person doesn’t misunderstand you, nobody else should matter.”

From clarifying Bigg Boss rumours to confronting criticism head-on, Ram Kapoor has once again proven he isn’t afraid to speak his mind.
