Director Ram Gopal Varma, who is known for making bold statements, has now lashed out at the makers of Ram Charan Teja starrer Game Changer.

He also questioned the box office collections of Game Changer and wrote, “I truly don’t know who’s behind this highly humiliating disgracing insult of undermining the extraordinary achievements of south thanks to Baahubali, RRR, KGF 2, Kantara etc and all of their achievements will be now in doubt because of G C claims.”
Game Changer's producers had shared that the film earned Rs 186 crore on day one of its release, January 10. The figure was shared on the film's official social media page. Going by the figures released by film's producers, it makes Game Changer the fourth-best opening Indian film ever, behind only Pushpa 2, Baahubali 2, and RRR.
However, trade sources reported that the film opened under Rs 100 crore worldwide, and Sacnilk reported that film had a collection of only Rs 80 crore.
Game Changer has been directed by Shankar. It stars Ram Charan, Kiara Advani, and SJ Suryah in the leads.
The political thriller got off to a strong start at the Indian box office but has since shown a decline in its collection.
