Ram Charan's blockbuster film Rangasthalam is set to stream in a Japanese dubbed version on Amazon Prime Video (Japan). This marks a unique release for a Telugu film, as they typically stream with original audio and Japanese subtitles. The release date for the Japanese dubbed version is yet to be announced.
Rangasthalam, an action drama directed by Sukumar, continues to be popular seven years after its initial release. The film recently received the prestigious Gaddar Award, further cementing its critical acclaim. It had already made a significant impact at the Japanese box office when it was released there in July 2023, earning 2.5 million yen on its opening day across 70 screens.
This upcoming OTT release on Amazon Prime Video (Japan) will offer both the original Telugu audio with Japanese subtitles and, notably, a Japanese dubbed version. This will allow Japanese-speaking audiences to experience the film in a new way.
