The makers of the highly anticipated Pushpa 2: The Rule, starring Allu Arjun, have revealed that they will be adding 20 minutes of extra footage to the film, which is set to release on January 11.

This exciting update comes just one day after the film achieved a significant milestone, becoming the highest-grossing movie in India with a record-breaking Rs 1,831 crore at the box office. Directed by Sukumar, Pushpa 2 hit theaters worldwide on December 5 and was made available in multiple languages, including Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, Bengali, and Malayalam.

Makers of the film, Mythri Movie Makers shared the news on Instagram with a poster starring Allu Arjun as Pushpa Raj, along with the caption, "#Pushpa2TheRule RELOADED VERSION with 20 minutes of added footage will play in cinemas from 11th January. The WILDFIRE gets extra FIERY #Pushpa2Reloaded."

Pushpa 2: The Rule has become a massive success, earning Rs 1,831 crore globally within 32 days of its release, with an impressive Rs 1,441 crore gross in India alone. The film's Hindi dubbed version has also etched its name in history, becoming the first Hindi film to surpass Rs 800 crore in India. This milestone further solidifies the film's exceptional performance and widespread popularity, marking it as one of the biggest blockbusters in recent times.

Featuring Rashmika Mandanna and Fahadh Faasil alongside Allu Arjun, Pushpa 2: The Rule is the highly anticipated sequel to the 2021 hit Pushpa: The Rise. Directed by Sukumar, the film continues the thrilling saga and has already captivated audiences with its powerful storytelling and stellar performances.

Earlier on Tuesday, Allu Arjun visited a young boy who is currently receiving treatment at a private hospital after sustaining serious injuries in the tragic stampede at the Pushpa 2 premiere in Hyderabad. The incident occurred on December 4 at Sandhya Theatre, where large crowds gathered to see the actor. Sadly, the boy’s mother, Revathi, lost her life in the chaos. On December 13, Allu Arjun was arrested after police claimed he had attended the event without prior approval. However, he was granted interim bail the following day.
