Pushpa 2 The Rule Box Office collection Day 3: Allu Arjun film becomes the fastest movie to earn Rs 500 cr gross worldwide

Allu Arjun starrer Pushpa 2 is breaking many box office records.

Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna's Pushpa 2: The Rule is smashing box office records. In just three days the movie has collected a whopping Rs 500 crore gross worldwide. Pushpa 2 had released on December 5 on a non holiday day.

According to Sacnilk, Pushpa 2: The Rule collected Rs 10.65 crore net from its premiere shows in India on December 4.

The film then went on to collect Rs 164.5 crore net on its opening day and Rs 93.8 crore net on its first Friday. Despite witnessing a 42.89% drop in collections the next day, Pushpa 2 managed to do good business on Friday.

On Saturday, the first day of the weekend, the movie picked up pace and made around Rs 115.58 crore net in India. It managed to cross the Friday collections and took the total to Rs 379.28 crore net.

First it beat SS Rajamouli’s RRR to take the top spot and become the biggest opener for any Indian film. Then in Hindi language it broke the record of Atlee’s Jawan to have the biggest opening in the Hindi language.

In Hindi language the movie collected Rs 70.3 crore on Day followed by Rs 56.9 cr and Rs 73.5 cr on Day 2 and Day 3 respectively. The movie has collected Rs 200.7 cr in Hindi itself.

Pushpa 2: The Rule has now become Allu Arjun’s highest-grossing film. Fahadh Faasil and Rashmika Mandanna reprised their roles for the sequel directed by Sukumar.
