The blockbuster film Pushpa 2: The Rule, starring Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna, is all set to make its television debut in Hindi. After setting the box office on fire and breaking numerous records, the much-anticipated premiere for Hindi-speaking audiences is finally happening.

To the delight of fans, the action-packed film will be televised on Zee Cinema on May 31 at 7:30 p.m. This television premiere comes nearly six months after the film’s theatrical release, which created a storm at the box office.

Pushpa 2: The Rule is the highly awaited sequel to director Sukumar’s 2021 hit, Pushpa: The Rise. The story follows Allu Arjun's character Pushpa Raj, a former daily wage worker who advances through the ranks to become the undisputed head of a red sandalwood smuggling empire. Srivalli, who is now Pushpa's wife, is played by Rashmika Mandanna.

As Pushpa ascends to power, he grapples with the emotional complexity of winning the respect of his estranged stepbrother, Molleti Mohan Rao, portrayed by Ajay. At the same time, he finds himself facing intensified opposition from a growing list of enemies, most notably SP Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat, played by Fahadh Faasil.

Pushpa 2: The Rule, which debuted in theatres on December 5, 2024, was a huge hit at the box office, and its incredible success across the country was largely due to the Hindi version. The sequel made an incredible Rs 1871 crore worldwide, according to the film's team, making it the highest-grossing Indian film of 2024.
