Global superstar Priyanka Chopra recently returned to India to shoot for the highly anticipated film SSMB 29, directed by RRR's SS Rajamouli. The film, which stars Mahesh Babu alongside the Citadel actress, has already generated significant buzz, with fans eagerly awaiting its release. During her time in India, Chopra shared a heartwarming experience from her visit to Vishakhapatnam, which she recounted in a recent Instagram post.
In her post, Chopra described an encounter with a female fruit seller she met on her way to the Vishakhapatnam airport.
She said, “On my way to the Vishakhapatnam airport, I saw a woman selling guavas and I love raw guavas. So I stopped to buy them,” the actress shared. As the transaction unfolded, Chopra insisted that the woman keep the change, saying, "No, it is fine. Keep it." However, just before the lights turned green, the woman surprised Chopra by offering her two additional guavas, showing a sense of independence and dignity. Chopra added, “A working woman, she didn't want charity.” The encounter left a lasting impression on the actress, who smiled as she concluded, "I was very inspired."
Alongside the anecdote, Priyanka also shared photos and videos from her time in India, with a simple caption that read, "Lately," capturing her recent experiences.
SSMB 29 is set to be a high-budget, action-packed entertainer, with Mahesh Babu, Prithviraj Sukumaran, and Priyanka Chopra in leading roles. Though the full cast and crew have yet to be revealed, Rajamouli has teased that the film will be a globetrotting adventure, incorporating elements of the epic Ramayana.
Currently, the film’s Odisha schedule is ongoing, with production expected to continue for a while. Fans are eagerly awaiting more updates, as Rajamouli’s projects are known for their larger-than-life storytelling and intricate, captivating plots.
