Nick Jonas recently appeared on SiriusXM's Andy Cohen Live podcast, offering a touching glimpse into his personal life and upcoming musical endeavours. The singer and actor said that although he and his wife, Priyanka Chopra, might work together on a song in the future, they have already given birth to their best duet, Malti Marie.
In conversation with host Andy Cohen and his The Last Five Years co-star Adrienne Warren, Nick reflected on Priyanka’s incredible singing talent.
He mentioned, “She is an amazing singer and she is shooting a movie in India right now. I think our best duet is probably our little girl.” The host’s heartfelt “awww” was met with Adrienne’s playful comment, calling the statement a “nice segue.” She also described Malti as “the cutest little girl you’ve ever seen.”
Nick went on to share more about his daughter’s milestones, revealing, “She's 3. She is in nursery school, she is in karate class, got her first belt.” When Cohen noted that his own daughter, who was also 3, wasn’t yet in karate, Nick reassured him, “It’s still not too late.”
The conversation also turned to Priyanka’s unwavering support for Nick’s career. He expressed how meaningful it is to have a partner who champions your work, something Priyanka has consistently done for him. Adrienne joked, “She’s come more than my mom. That tell you a lot.”

After getting married in India in 2018, Nick and Priyanka still split their time between the US and India. Priyanka, who currently lives in the United States, recently went back to India to film her Bollywood comeback with actor Mahesh Babu and renowned director SS Rajamouli.
In his most recent endeavour, The Last Five Years, Nick will make his Broadway debut alongside Adrienne in a moving musical that narrates a singular, non-linear tale of love. The show, which was directed by Whitney White and is based on the well-liked 2002 musical by Jason Robert Brown, highlights Nick's range as an artist.
