Pranit More enters Bigg Boss 19: All you need to know about Marathi stand-up comedian and RJ

Pranit More is a popular Indian stand-up comedian, radio jockey, and content creator known for his relatable humor and engaging storytelling. Born on July 7, 1991 (making him 34 years old in 2025).

Pranit hails from Mumbai, Maharashtra, with his family roots in Khed, Ratnagiri district. He grew up in a modest Maharashtrian family; his father worked as a conductor for the state transport corporation, and his mother is a homemaker. He has an elder brother named Prayag More.

Pranit initially dreamed of becoming a commercial pilot due to his childhood fascination with airplanes but later changed career paths after failing to get admission for a piloting course. He briefly pursued aircraft maintenance engineering but dropped out after six months. After completing his schooling at KJ Somaiya College of Science & Commerce in Mumbai, he earned a Bachelor of Management Studies and an MBA in Marketing from the Welingkar Institute of Management Development and Research in Mumbai.

He worked as a sales assistant at an automobile showroom from 2013 to 2015 and then pursued comedy. His big break came when he won the Open Mic Maverick title at Canvas Laugh Club during his MBA final year. From 2019 to 2023, Pranit worked as a radio jockey and content creator at Mirchi FM, where he hosted major live events such as the Filmfare Awards Marathi and Filmfare OTT Awards. Since 2023, he has been performing solo stand-up comedy shows like “Baap Ko Mat Sikha” and “Back Bencher,” gaining acclaim for his sharp observational humor derived from everyday Indian life.

Pranit is unmarried and known to be an animal lover; he adopted a cat after losing his first pet, Sheru, who had been with him for nearly 16 years. His YouTube channel “morepranit” has amassed a large following, featuring humorous takes on Indian culture and modern societal quirks.

In 2025, Pranit More joined the reality show Bigg Boss 19, further expanding his popularity and fan base.
