Samay Raina, who has recently been in the spotlight due to the controversy surrounding his show India’s Got Latent, is now facing further complications in his personal life. After his shows in Gujarat were cancelled due to public backlash, additional precautions have now been advised for his upcoming performances.

The controversy has escalated, leading to heightened scrutiny and concerns over his safety and the smooth execution of his future gigs. As a result, the comedian, who is known for his sharp wit and charm, is now navigating both professional and personal challenges as the fallout continues to affect his career.

According to reports, a member of Samay Raina's legal team visited the Khar police station on Tuesday evening to represent him. She informed the authorities that Samay is currently away on his tour but assured them that he would fully cooperate with the ongoing inquiry.

As per a reports from Indian Express, The police are also planning to reach out to BookMyShow to obtain information about the individuals who purchased tickets and attended the show. They aim to determine if anyone in the audience, particularly any women, felt offended, uncomfortable, or that their dignity was compromised during the performance, where allegedly inappropriate jokes were made. An officer stated that the investigation will focus on whether any such feelings of distress occurred during the event.

On Wednesday, Samay took to X and wrote, "Everything that is happening has been too much for me to handle. I have removed all Indias Got Latent videos from my channel. My only objective was to make people laugh and have a good time. I will fully cooperate with all agencies to ensure their inquiries are concluded fairly. Thank you."

Samay Raina is currently in the United States, and his lawyer had requested an extension for his appearance before the police. However, the request was denied. Authorities have now directed Raina to present himself as soon as possible for questioning.
