Popular fashion photographer and actor Radhakrishnan Chakyat, founder of Pixel Viilage, recently died on Friday, May 23. He was 53. The photographer died after having a heart attack.
Manorama Online has confirmed the reports. Further details of Radhakrishnan’s death are yet to be revealed. However, Pixel Viilage issued an official statement following Radhakrishnan’s death.
The statement reads, “It is with a heavy heart that we share the passing of our beloved mentor, friend, and inspiration, Radhakrishnan Chakyat. A guiding light in our photography journey, he not only taught us how to see the world through the lens but also how to capture its soul.
“We extend our heartfelt condolences to his family, friends, and everyone whose lives he touched with his presence. May we continue to honor his memory by carrying forward the light he so generously shared with us all,” it continued.

Meanwhile, Radhakrishnan started his career as an independent photographer in 2000 and soon rose to fame for his unique blend of artistic vision and technical mastery. He had filmed some of the popular campaigns for some of the major brands.

He then founded Pixel Viilage, a popular YouTube platform in 2017 that soon became a major source of learning for aspiring photographers.
Besides photography, Radhakrishnan also starred in some films. He made his acting debut with the 2015 film Charlie, starring alongside Dulquer Salmaan. He brought the character David to life, winning praise for his effortless on-screen charm.
