In the first week of May, makers of Tollywood power star Pawan Kalyan’s Hari Hara Veera Mallu announced that the third single from the album composed by Amit Trivedi will be released on May 21.

Written by Rambabu Gosala and music by the Oscar-winning sensation MM Keeravani, Asura Hananam is likely to be a throbbing, energetic number which will feature during a crucial fight episode in the film. Created to elevate the adrenaline and heart-racing thrill of the film’s adrenaline-pumping plot, the song is sure to pique curiosity among its diehard fans.

Pawan Kalyan’s most-awaited pan-Indian period action entertainer Hari Hara Veera Mallu: Part 1 – Sword vs Spirit has been confirmed for a worldwide theatrical release on June 12th, 2025. With the fans eagerly waiting, the creators are to release the third single from the film, Asura Hananam, on May 21st at 11:55 AM.

Before the song was released, Pawan Kalyan had a wonderful surprise in store for Keeravani. In a video shared by the film’s team, the actor was seen praising the composer and talking about how excited he was for the upcoming track.

“I have heard Asura Hananam almost 50 times,” Pawan said. “If anyone is in a low mood, let them hear this song and their mood will be instantly lifted. He also mentioned instances from his interaction with Keeravani, recollecting the veteran composer’s association — from being a student of music director Chakravarthy to being closely associated with lyric stalwarts like Veturi Sundararama Murthy and Sirivennela Seetharama Sastry.

Pawan shared, “While I was watching a collection of his violins, I remembered that I learnt to play the violin for a short period. He even showed me one violin gifted to him by Chidambaranathan Garu, which he has preserved.

The actor also finally got to show off a more hidden side of the composer. “He is an ardent lover of Telugu storytelling and has his own collection of 32 stories — two of them are written by him. It’s proving that Keeravani Garu is not just a music director, but a good writer too,” Pawan said.
