Sidharth Malhotra and Janhvi Kapoor are gearing up for the release of their much-awaited romantic comedy Param Sundari, hitting theatres this weekend. Even before the official premiere, the film is already creating a buzz with advance ticket sales looking quite promising.

According to industry trackers, the film has managed to sell close to 10,000 tickets for its opening day through online platforms like BookMyShow and District apps, all within the first 24 hours itself.

Trade experts see this as a good start for the film, which is directed by Tushar Jalota. As the weekend unfolds, the excitement is expected to build, with advance bookings possibly reaching around 40,000 admissions.

Produced by Maddock Films, Param Sundari has caught people’s attention, especially thanks to its catchy track Pardesiya, sung by Sonu Nigam, which has quickly become a fan favourite. The trailers and teasers have also been well received.

Interestingly, both Sidharth and Janhvi have kept their promotions quite low-key, choosing to skip the usual flurry of interviews and appearances often seen during Bollywood releases.

Early estimates suggest the movie could open with collections between Rs 7 to 8 crore net on its first day. The story, centred around two people from different states coming together in unexpected circumstances, seems to have a wide appeal, which could work in its favour.
