Actor Parag Tyagi has responded forcefully to rumours that have been going around regarding the condition of Simba, the cherished pet dog he had with his late wife, Shefali Jariwala.

In a touching Instagram post, Parag honoured Shefali's memory by performing deeds of kindness while assuring fans that Simba is doing well.

A video that has gone viral shows Parag and Simba handing out food to poor old women on the streets of Mumbai. The heartwarming images show women blessing Simba and Parag, emphasising the ongoing emotional support the devoted dog receives in the wake of Shefali's untimely death.

Accompanying the video, Parag wrote a moving note to dispel speculation: “Simba is hail and hearty and performing all the rituals that a son would do for his mother. This video is for all those wonderful people who were truly concerned about our baby Simba, amidst false reports being circulated by some heartless individuals seeking likes and views.”

He expressed his gratitude to fans who had shown genuine concern, writing, “Thank you to everyone who has been sincerely worried about Simba. God bless you all,” adding red heart and hugging face emojis. The video was set to the poignant track Tu Hi Yaar Mera, which added to the emotional weight of the moment.
