The 50 continued to deliver roller-coaster drama in Episode 5 as rivalries boiled over, unexpected twists reshaped the money pot and personal tensions sparked chaotic confrontations inside the Palace. The reality show — streaming on JioHotstar and airing on COLORS — kept viewers on edge with a mix of conflict, challenges and humorous banter.
The episode’s first major twist came from the ongoing Maxtern–Elvish Yadav controversy. During a group interaction, Maxtern reignited the feud by launching pointed criticism at Elvish and his friends, claiming that Elvish gained followers by slapping him in past reality shows and running negative PR. His remarks — including calling Elvish “India’s sabse bada gawar” — triggered a violent reaction when Elvish’s ally Archit Kaushik physically confronted and pushed him to the ground, sparking outrage among contestants.
The fallout was immediate: The Lion issued an exit order for Archit for the physical altercation, leaving the Palace stunned and forcing other housemates to take sides in the escalating drama.
Later, a mysterious fox-masked challenger appeared and took Shrutika to the Lion’s Den, where she was offered a Dare or No Dare task — victory meant Rs 50,000 added to the money pot, while failure would mean a deduction. Shrutika accepted and won a gripping arm-wrestling face-off, boosting the pot.
The stakes climbed further when WWE superstar The Great Khali entered the Palace as a special challenger for Luvkesh. Although Luvkesh lost his arm-wrestle, The Lion gave him another shot by sending two female contestants — Arushi and Krishna — to compete. In a surprising and entertaining moment, the pair defeated Khali together, pushing the money pot to Rs 3,35,000 amid loud cheers.
Amid the high tension, lighter moments unfolded. Siwet openly flirted with Divya, Krishna and Riddhi, while humorous mishaps — like Maxtern needing clean underwear and relying on Faizu for help — brought levity to the Palace.
Emotions ran high off the games, too, with an arguing couple — Arbaz and Nikki — confronting issues of attention and emotional distance, and Rajat’s roast of Bebika igniting a heated exchange about respect and body shaming.
To close the episode, The Lion unveiled a new collective challenge: contestants must break 40 alarm clocks in pairs within 20 minutes, with each clock worth Rs 5,000 to the money pot — setting the stage for another strategic and competitive showdown.
The 50 is streaming on JioHotstar at 9:00 PM and airing on COLORS at 10:30 PM.
