Michelle Pfeiffer and Felicity Jones starrer OH. WHAT. FUN. is all set to release on the streaming platform. The upcoming Christmas comedy film is directed by Michael Showalter and written by Chandler Baker and Showalter.

OH. WHAT. FUN. is all set to premiere on December 3 on Prime Video. The series features an ensemble cast including Chloë Grace Moretz, Denis Leary, Dominic Sessa, Danielle Brooks, Devery Jacobs, Havana Rose Liu, Maude Apatow, Jason Schwartzman, Eva Longoria, and Joan Chen.

However, the film features a brand-new original song, ‘Shake The Snow Globe’ from Grammy-winning artist Gwen Stefani.

Fans can now listen to the song on Amazon Music, and those who have Amazon Music Unlimited can view the music video, which was created by Mike Ho and is only available on the Amazon Music app.

The singer talked about the film and shared, “This is the first time I’ve ever been asked to write a song for a specific moment in a film. It made me nervous, excited, and inspired to take on the challenge of creating a Christmas song that feels up tempo, nostalgic and reflects the sentiment of the movie, Oh. What. Fun..”

With a relatable premise that will speak to anyone who has ever felt overwhelmed during the holidays, acclaimed director Michael Showalter (The Big Sick, The Idea of You, and The Eyes of Tammy Faye) defies convention by concentrating on the journey of the family matriarch.

The official synopsis of OH. WHAT. FUN. reads, “Claire Clauster (Michelle Pfeiffer) is the glue that holds her chaotic, lovable family together every holiday season. From perfectly frosted cookies to meticulously wrapped gifts, no one decks the halls quite like Claire. But this year, after planning a special outing for her family, they make a crucial mistake and leave her home alone.”

The synopsis added, “Fed up and feeling underappreciated, she sets off on an impromptu adventure of her own. As her family scrambles to find her, Claire discovers the unexpected magic of a Christmas gone off-script.”
