JioHotstar unveils gripping trailer for ‘Search: The Naina Murder Case’ starring Konkona Sensharma

JioHotstar has just dropped the trailer for its upcoming crime thriller, Search: The Naina Murder Case, and it’s already creating quite a buzz. At the centre of this intense story is ACP Sanyukta Das, played by the brilliant Konkona Sensharma.

Sanyukta is a seasoned cop who’s about to switch departments to save her struggling marriage — but before she can, a chilling murder case of a teenage girl pulls her back in. This case isn’t just any investigation; it threatens to upend her entire world and unearths some dark secrets along the way. The series will premiere on JioHotstar on 10 October 2025.

Produced by Applause Entertainment and Highgate Entertainment, and directed by Rohan Sippy, the show also features rookie cop ACP Jai Kanwal, played by Surya Sharma. Together, they unravel a complicated mystery that exposes the ugly side of society, where truth is hard to come by and suspicion hangs in the air. The cast includes some familiar faces like Shiv Pandit, Varun Thakur, Dhruv Sehgal, and Shraddha Das.
