Khyati Rupani slams celebrities diet that they show on social media

Bollywood celebrity diets and weight loss secrets have long been a subject of fascination among fans. However, renowned dietitian and nutritionist Khyati Rupani has recently addressed the topic while warning everyone against following extreme celebrity diets.

She also emphasized that these stars are professionals who must maintain a strict regimen, but for the average person, such drastic diets are unsustainable and not an effective way to lose weight.

During a recent appearance on the One Take With Aniket podcast, Khyati said, See, so many celebrities are telling you today, even Sara Ali Khan. She is telling you she had PCOS, PCOS, PCOS. Their lifestyle was also like that. They also steps and they are also walking the healthy path.”

She elaborated, “But every example that you see, don't follow. Their life and our life is very different. They keep showing you things that I am this, I this, I am roti, I rice. They don't do any of that. Their diet is extremely strict to the point that they feel on side.”

Khyati Rupani also talked about the use of ghee coffee and mentioned that many people consume it regularly. She stated that if someone wants to stop drinking, they should do so. Rupani also referenced Rakulpreet Singh, saying that the actress consumes ghee coffee and attributes her physical strength, as evident in her weightlifting, to the beverage.

However, Khyati further noted that after a video surfaced of Rakulpreet Singh being hospitalized due to a gym injury, people should not take inspiration from celebrities in the wrong way. She emphasized that consuming ghee coffee all day, without oil or ghee in their diet, is not a suitable or realistic approach for most people.

The nutritionist also explained that it is unrealistic to follow the strict diets of celebrities, who often have professional requirements that demand a certain physique. She mentioned that some celebrities drink lemon water and eat fat-free Greek yogurt all day and track their protein intake and calorie count.

She then cited the example of Sara Ali Khan, who reportedly weighs 90 kgs but has achieved a sleek physique, highlighting the unrealistic expectations that such celebrity standards can create.

She added, “They kill themselves, and I am not naming any celebrity, but a lot of them go under the knife. Itna perfection possible hi nahi hai yaar. Theek hai na. Even if you kill yourself, genetic makeup does come into the force. Toh thoda realistic rehte hai yaar. Inspiration le lo but not what they eat.”
