Nushrratt Bharuccha thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi for recuing her after she was stranded in Israel for 36 hours. The actress expressed her excitement to meet the PM.

Bollywood actress Nushrratt Bharuccha recently attended the News18 Rising Bharat Summit 2025 on April 9. The event was held in Delhi. The actress talked about several aspects of her career and revealed her experience of being trapped in Israel during the conflict.

However, the actress has taken to her Instagram and shared a series of photos from the event and expressed gratitude. The actress also thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi for taking quick action and bringing her back safely to India from Israel.

She wrote in the caption, “Truly honoured and deeply grateful for a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to meet Hon’ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the CNN-News18 Rising Bharat Summit!”

The actress added, “It was an incredible privilege to thank you in person, Modi Ji, for your unwavering leadership and the swift action taken by your government to bring back Indian citizens, including myself, stranded in Israel during the recent conflict.”

Nushrratt further noted, “Aap no aa mulakat badal khub khub aabhar… Maari mate aa zindagi bhar ni yaadgir reh se. @narendramodi @cnnnews18 #RisingBharatSummit2025 #RisingBharat #NarendraModi #PMAtRisingBharat2025.”

The actress also shared a video and a photo with PM Modi. In the video, she can be heard thanking him. However, the duo also shared a fun interaction and had a conversation in Gujarati.

For the unversed, Nushrratt Bharuccha was in Israel for the screening of her film Akelli at the Haifa International Film Festival in 2023. She was stranded in Israel for 36 hours in the region when an unprecedented attack was made by the Palestinian Islamist group Hamas on Israel.
