Nithiin and Sreeleela starrer Robinhood is all set to hit the theatres on March 28. The film has created a buzz among the audience, with fans eagerly waiting for the release of the highly-anticipated film.
There have been reports of an alleged hike in the ticket prices for the upcoming film.
Mythri Movie Makers, producers of the movie, addressed the rumours and issued an official statement on their Instagram handle, debunked the reports and clarified that ticket prices will remain standard across most theatres.
The statement reads, “There are unverified reports claiming that ‘Robinhood’ will have increased ticket prices. These are completely baseless. Our goal is to provide wholesome entertainment at affordable prices.”
The statement continued, “Price hikes apply only to a few select premium locations in Andhra Pradesh, while the rest of Andhra Pradesh and all of Telangana will have regular pricing.”
The upcoming film, Robinhood, features an ensemble cast including Dayanand Reddy and a guest appearance from the cricketer David Warner. Rashmika Mandanna was also set to star in the film but she reportedly quit the project because of the scheduling conflict.
The upcoming film is directed and penned by Venky Kudumula. Meanwhile, producers Naveen Yerneni and Ravi Kumar have backed the film.
However, the upcoming Telugu language action crime thriller follows a modern Robin Hood who switches from stealing to protecting when circumstances make him the reluctant bodyguard of a high-profile client.
