Nimrat Kaur Ahluwalia gives a tribute to Seema Pahwa on Teachers Day

On Teachers’ Day, Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia opened up about someone who’s become much more than just a mentor to her, and it was veteran actress and director Seema Pahwa.

As Nimrit gears up for her big Bollywood debut, she revealed that she’s currently training under Seema’s guidance, and the experience, she says, has been nothing short of transformative.

Nimrit shared that working with Seema Pahwa isn’t just about perfecting lines or hitting emotional beats, it’s about understanding the heart of a character, learning to act with honesty, and discovering who you are as a performer. The young actress didn’t hold back in expressing how much the mentorship has meant to her.

“I feel extremely fortunate to be working under the guidance of Seema Pahwa ma’am... What I admire the most about her is the way she encourages you to discover your own truth as a performer rather than simply following instructions. For me, Seema ma’am has become much more than a director or mentor – she is an inspiration and a guiding light,” Nimrit said in her heartfelt tribute.

As someone making the leap from television to film, Nimrit is clearly embracing the challenge. And under Seema’s tutelage, she’s gaining far more than just technique.

While talking about this recent project, she mentioned, “Working with Tiger has been an absolute blast. His passion and dedication to every frame is truly inspiring. I had to match his energy, and I want to thank choreographer Bosco, his choreography pushed me out of my comfort zone in the best way possible.”
