Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban have reportedly separated after 19 years of marriage. According to People, Nicole, 58, and Keith, 57, have decided to part ways.
The Nine Perfect Strangers actress and the country singer got married in 2006, and the couple share two daughters, Sunday Rose, 17, and Faith Margaret, 14.
A source close to the family revealed that Nicole's sister, Antonia, has been her “rock” during this emotional time. “She didn’t want this,” the source said. “She has been fighting to save the marriage," they added.
TMZ was first to report the news, citing sources who said the couple had been living apart since the start of summer.
Before the separation rumours stirred up the internet, Nicole had posted a photo on Instagram on June 25, cuddled up with Urban to celebrate their wedding anniversary, writing, “Happy Anniversary Baby @KeithUrban.”
Earlier this year, she had spoken warmly about their marriage in an interview with People, describing Urban as her “deep, deep love” and often crediting him for providing stability as her Hollywood career thrived.

The couple was known for a unique communication pact: they never texted each other, choosing instead to speak only on phone calls. “We don’t text. We call. We’ve done this since the very beginning,” Nicole once shared.
Nicole Kidman was previously married to Tom Cruise, with whom she adopted two children, Isabella and Connor. Urban has also spoken about how meeting Kidman changed his personal life in meaningful ways.
