Bollywood actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui, appears to have a rising star in the making within his own family.
His 15-year-old daughter, Shora Siddiqui, recently caught the internet’s attention with a brief acting performance that hints at a promising future in the industry.
Sharing a video on Instagram, Nawazuddin posted a clip of Shora performing a short scene alongside another actor, captioning it, “Can I come in…. Scene one."
The post quickly garnered widespread appreciation and admiration from fans, many of whom predicted that Shora is poised to "I can see the next Radhika Apte in her"
One enthusiastic follower commented, “Mashallah Shoora, Good to see your Adakaari, Betiyan , baap ki aankhon me chhupe khawab ko pehchaanti hen” Another added, “She will gonna dominate the Bollywood”
The positive reception even led to comments like, “Now this is nepotism done right,” and “Chip off the old block! She’s following in your footsteps. Proud father moment.”
Director Ron Kahlon, who recently coached Shora during a workshop, also lauded her talent, stating, “God bless her @nawazuddin._siddiqui. It was my pleasure working with her. Never seen such raw talent!!”
In an interview with Film Companion, Nawazuddin revealed that Shora’s passion for acting is self-driven. He shared, “My daughter is taking training right now. She herself went and got admitted to the performing arts faculty. Haath jod ke teacher ke saamne (with folded hands in front of her teacher), she said, ‘I want to learn acting.’” This determined attitude clearly reflects her commitment to mastering the craft.
Nawazuddin Siddiqui, meanwhile, is still quite busy with a number of well-known projects planned. His next project with director Honey Trehan will be Raat Akeli Hai 2, the follow-up to the 2020 crime thriller. He also appears in the Indian version of The House.

Nawazuddin plays a banker who aspires to be an actor in Aditya Kripalani's upcoming drama Main Actor Nahi Hoon (I'm Not An Actor), a role that speaks to his own experiences. In addition, he has films like Sangeen and Noorani Chehra scheduled for release, so viewers will be able to witness a lot more of his work soon.
As Shora embarks on her own path, it seems the Siddiqui legacy is set to continue, inspiring many with both talent and dedication.
