Nawazuddin Siddiqui is teaming up with filmmaker Ravi Varma for an upcoming film titled Blind Babu.
Ravi Varma shared the announcement on Instagram by sharing a series of photos with Nawazuddin and the film’s team on Tuesday.
In the pictures, they could be seen holding a clapperboard with the movie’s title, hinting that the shooting has already begun. One of the posts also featured the whole team posing together for a group photo, while another close-up shot highlighted the clapperboard.
The director captioned the post, “Ab bomb phatega ya kuch aur? Get ready for the chaos that will trap you in edge-of-the-seat suspense... but with dark comic relief... The journey of #BlindBabu begins now!”
The movie is described as a darkly humorous suspense drama. Experienced performers Zakir Hussain, Pavan Malhotra, and Mukesh Tiwari are also anticipated to play important roles alongside Nawazuddin. However, a lot of information regarding the cast and crew is still being kept secret because the project has only recently been announced.

Meanwhile, he will also be seen alongside Ayushmann Khurrana and Rashmika Mandanna in the horror-comedy Thama, directed by Aditya Sarpotdar and produced by Dinesh Vijan and Amar Kaushik.
