Former cricketer and politician Navjot Singh Sidhu has made a deeply personal decision, choosing to divide his properties between his two children while he is still alive.

The announcement, shared through a social media post along with photographs, has drawn attention for both its emotional tone and the scale of the properties involved.

As per his statement, Navjot Singh Sidhu has given his Amritsar home to his daughter, Rabia Sidhu, while his ancestral house in Patiala has been passed on to his son, Karan Sidhu. He explained that the homes represent years of effort and work across different phases of his life, from cricket to commentary and television appearances. In his post, he also reflected on the sense of gratitude behind the decision, saying that the properties feel like blessings he is now simply passing forward.

He wrote, "He said that he received these two homes due to the blessings of Goddess Parvati, and therefore, he is handing them over to his two children."

As per News24, the Amritsar residence itself is widely known for its scale and design. Spread across more than 49,500 square feet in a premium locality, the house was built between 2014 and 2015 at an estimated cost of Rs 25 crore.

It includes a swimming pool, gym, spa, and a dedicated Shiva temple, making it as much a spiritual space as a luxury home. The property is also surrounded by trees brought from different parts of India, adding to its distinctive character.

One of the most talked-about features is a Shivalinga imported from Singapore, installed in 2014 and reportedly valued at around Rs 2.5 crore. The home also includes idols of several deities, along with a separate space for the Sri Guru Granth Sahib, reflecting the family’s religious practices and daily devotion.

Navjot Singh Sidhu also looked back on his professional journey, mentioning that the earnings from cricket, television shows, commentary, and programmes like Bigg Boss, Star Plus appearances, and The Kapil Sharma Show helped him build the Amritsar property.
