Ahead of his much-awaited concert in Australia, Diljit Dosanjh treated fans to a glimpse of his shopping spree in Melbourne through a video shared on social media. But what truly stole hearts was a sweet and spontaneous fan encounter that has now gone viral.

The video shows the Lover singer strolling through Melbourne's streets when a young fan, giddy with anticipation, rushes up to embrace him.

Overjoyed, she quickly pointed her phone to show Diljit her mother on a video call and said, “This is my mom.” Diljit, with his trademark charm, smiled and replied, “Hi mummy ji, how are you?” — a gesture that melted hearts online.

When Diljit unexpectedly offered the fan a ticket to his next concert, the moment became even more memorable. After the heartwarming exchange, the singer posted glimpses of his day out, including him going shopping and getting ready for the big performance.

Fans flooded the comments section with love and admiration for his kindness. One user wrote, “Why does Diljit’s success feel so personal!” while another gushed, “OMG, she is so lucky! When is my turn?” A third fan exclaimed, “Areyyyyy BHAIIIIII… itnaaaa luckyyy!”

The singer also talked about a concerning incident that happened when he first arrived in Sydney. He disclosed that after being photographed at the airport, the images went viral online with racist comments calling him a "cab driver." Despite this, Diljit managed the matter with poise and dignity, concentrating instead on using his music to spread optimism.

The pro-Khalistan organisation Sikhs for Justice (SFJ), based in the US and headed by Gurpatwant Singh Pannun, recently threatened him, which made matters worse.

According to reports, the group warned him before his November 1 performance in Melbourne at AAMI Park after what they called a "contentious" altercation with Amitabh Bachchan.
