Country music singer Riley Green was left injured during a live concert after a fan threw a phone at him, sparking outrage and concern among fans. The shocking incident took place during his performance at Margaret Court Arena in Melbourne, Australia.

According to reports, the singer was struck near his ear by the phone, which caused visible bleeding and forced him to briefly pause the show. Despite the injury, Green remained composed and addressed the situation on stage, asking for the house lights to be turned on so the culprit could be identified.

The attacker was quickly singled out by the crowd and escorted out of the venue by security, as fans booed the disruptive behaviour.

Riley Green, showing professionalism, even joked about the incident while still on stage, asking the audience if he was bleeding and remarking on his toughness.

Medical assistance was provided shortly after, and the singer later revealed on social media that he required five stitches for the injury. Despite the mishap, he resumed the performance and completed the show, earning praise from fans for his resilience and dedication.

Later, he shared a picture of his ear, and wrote, “5 stitches later… sewed up.”

Videos of the moment have since gone viral, with many social media users condemning the dangerous act and calling for stricter concert security.

A netizen commented, "That’s assault and battery…. Find them and charge them."

Another Instagram user wrote, "I hope that person got arrested." One more netizen commented, "Why would someone spend money to buy a ticket that probably isn't cheap, just to throw something at them. I don't get it."

Riley recently shared pictures from his day out at a beach in Melbourne. The singer took to Instagram to share pictures, and captioned it as, "Went on a beach love bender with a dive bartender down under. Thanks for 4 SOLD OUT shows Sydney and Melbourne.”

Interestingly, this is not an isolated case. In recent years, several performers have faced similar situations, raising concerns about artist safety and audience conduct during concerts.
