Fashion designer Masaba Gupta and actor Satyadeep Misra joyfully welcomed their baby girl on October 11, 2024. On Monday, Masaba shared the name of their 3-month-old daughter with her followers on social media.

Masaba Gupta shared a touching photo of her daughter’s small hand beside hers, with a bangle featuring the name 'Matara'. She revealed that she and Satyadeep have chosen the name Matara for their baby girl. She penned in the caption, "3 months with my Matara. The name embodies the divine feminine energies of 9 Hindu goddesses, celebrating their strength and wisdom. Also, the star of our eyes."

Fans quickly flooded the comment section with love for the baby's name, sending their heartfelt well-wishes to the family.

Masaba and Satyadeep announced the pregnancy in in April 2024. The couple then shared the news of the arrival of their daughter in a joint post on Instagram. They revealed that their first baby was born on October 11. They shared a monochrome photo of their baby's tiny feet, accompanied by an image of a white lotus and a moon against a blue background. The announcement post read, “Our very special little girl arrived on a very special day. 11.10.2024. Masaba & Satyadeep.”

Masaba and Satyadeep got married in January 2023. Their intimate court marriage was attended by loved ones, including Masaba’s parents Neena Gupta and Viv Richards. Satyadeep was previously married to actress Aditi Rao Hydari.
