Actor and host Maniesh Paul has shared an emotional message with fans and friends, revealing that his family will not be hosting their annual Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations this year. The decision, he explained, comes in light of his parent’s ongoing health struggles.
The Paul household has always been known for its warm, joyous, and inclusive Ganesh Chaturthi festivities, where loved ones and well-wishers gather to welcome Ganapati Bappa. However, this year, the family has chosen to pause the celebrations, prioritizing health and healing above all else.
In a heartfelt note, jointly signed by Maniesh and his wife Sanyukta, the couple shared:
“As we get ready for our annual tradition of welcoming Ganapati Ji home; this time, we would not be able to celebrate his homecoming as we do every year. Our parent is struggling medically. Our hearts are heavy and we would not be able to celebrate this joyous festival as we usually do. Hence, please excuse us this year.”
The message also carried a note of faith and optimism for the future. “We seek blessings that same time next year, we would be able to welcome you all back into our home to celebrate this festival together.”
Fans and well-wishers have responded with warmth, flooding social media with prayers and good wishes for the speedy recovery of the actor’s parent. Many applauded the family’s devotion and the importance they have placed on togetherness and health during challenging times.
With his unshakable faith in Ganapati Bappa, the actor remains hopeful that next year’s celebrations at the Paul residence will be even more meaningful and joyous.
