Aparna Vinod took to her Instagram on Wednesday to announce that she and her husband, Rinilraj PK, have decided to part ways. The couple had gotten married in a private ceremony in February 2023, surrounded by close family and friends.

In a heartfelt note to her friends and followers, Aparna Vinod opened up about the emotionally draining and challenging journey of her marriage. Acknowledging these struggles, she explained her decision to close this chapter and end her marriage.

Her note read, “Dear friends & followers, I wanted to share with you that I have recently undergone a significant life change. After much consideration I decided to end my marriage, It wasn’t an easy choice, but I believe it’s the right one for me to grow and heal. My marriage had been an emotionally draining and difficult phase of my life, therefore I closed that chapter in order to move forward."

She further added, "I’m grateful for the love and support I received during this time and is looking forward to embracing the unknown with hope and positivity,”

Aparna Vinod, made her debut in the 2015 film Njan Ninnodu Koodeyundu, rose to fame with her performance in Kohinoor, starring alongside Asif Ali.

Her recent announcement of parting ways with her husband has come as a surprise to many fans, especially since her marriage had seemed to mark a new chapter in her personal life.

Aparna Vinod successfully transitioned into Tamil cinema after gaining recognition for her role in Kohinoor. She made her Tamil film debut in 2017 with Bhairavaa, where she starred alongside Thalapathy Vijay and Keerthy Suresh.

Over the years, Aparna has continued to establish her presence in the Tamil film industry, with her most recent appearance being in the lead role in the 2021 film Naduvan. Known for her versatility, Aparna has steadily built a reputation in both Malayalam and Tamil films, showcasing her talent across different genres.
