Malavika Mohanan has steadily carved out a prominent space for herself in the Indian film industry. From her critically acclaimed roles in Malayalam cinema to making a mark in Tamil and Hindi films, Malavika has consistently chosen substance over spectacle.
Every project she takes on reflects not only her undeniable talent but also her purpose-driven approach to her career. Now, with her eyes set on Telugu cinema, Malavika is preparing to embark on a journey that marks a significant milestone in her acting career.
Opening up about her much-anticipated Telugu debut, Malavika shared her long-held desire to enter the industry in the right way.
She explained, "I currently have a Telugu debut, which is with Prabhas, I actually got a lot of work for us from Telugu, but I was always very adamant about the fact that, you know, I want to, like, enter that industry with a bang. I wanted a good launch, and I always wanted to pair with an actor that I really admire, and I've always admired Prabhas, especially I am a big Baahubali fan."
For Malavika, this opportunity is nothing short of a dream come true, a full-circle moment that she has eagerly awaited for years.
Discussing her collaboration with the Pan-India superstar Prabhas, Malavika shared a heartwarming anecdote that speaks volumes about his generosity and larger-than-life persona. "When you start filming with him, he sends you so much food for you and your team. It's like, it's ten vessels this size (gesturing with hands), and I'm not even joking. It's humongous vessels that can feed, like, at least 30-40 people."
This gesture reflects Prabhas’ down-to-earth nature and his genuine care for his co-stars, further solidifying his place as one of the most beloved stars in Indian cinema.
With an exciting line-up ahead, including RajaSaab alongside Prabhas, Hridayapoorvam with Mohanlal, and Sardar 2 with Karthi, Malavika is clearly ready to take on new challenges, continuously expanding her horizons and embracing diverse roles across various industries.
