The Telugu film Little Hearts has quietly grown into one of the season’s biggest feel-good hits.
What began as a small-scale youth romance has turned into a box office surprise, fuelled by glowing word of mouth, lively social media chatter, and now, the stamp of approval from none other than superstar Mahesh Babu.
After watching the film, Mahesh Babu couldn’t resist sharing his thoughts on X. He called the movie “fun, fresh and big at heart” and showered praise on the young cast.
“The cast is extraordinary especially the young ones phew! Sensational acting. What a joy ride!” he wrote, before turning his attention to composer Sinjith Yerramilli with a playful note: “@SinjithYerramil Nuvvu daya chesi phone aapesi yekkadiki vellodhu brother (Please don’t switch off your phone and go anywhere). It’s going to be really busy for a while. Keep rocking. Congrats to the entire team.”

The post spread quickly, sending the film’s team into celebration mode. For a project already buzzing among audiences, Mahesh’s words gave Little Hearts an extra push, and the timing couldn’t have been better.
The story centres on Nalli Akhil Kumar, a student who struggles to keep up academically while trying to meet his father’s dream of seeing him become an engineer. After failing his entrance exam, he enrols in a coaching centre, where he crosses paths with fellow student Khatyayani.
Awkward humour, realistic family drama, and parental expectations all play a part in how their relationship develops. Audiences have responded so favourably to this blend of youthful romance and emotional candour.
The cast, which includes Mouli Tanuj Prasanth, Shivani Nagaram, Rajeev Kanakala, Satya Krishnan, SS Kaanchi, and Anitha Chowdary, contributes both youth and experience to the film.

Meanwhile, Mahesh Babu himself is keeping busy with his next major project, SS Rajamouli’s SSMB 29, which also stars Priyanka Chopra and Prithviraj Sukumaran.
With its mix of romance, humour, and heart, Little Hearts seems destined to leave a lasting mark — and Mahesh Babu’s words only confirm what audiences have been feeling all along.
