Mahavatar Narsimha opened in the theatres on a positive note and has been enjoying box office success with packed theatres. The animated film has broken all the records and continues to roar in the theatres.
However, the makers have chosen to celebrate the film’s success in a unique way. Instead of the usual party at pubs, they will hold a spiritual ceremony at a temple to mark the occasion.
Ahead of Janmashtami, the team is expressing gratitude to the higher power that motivated them to make this film. The directors and writers, along with the fans, have poured tremendous devotion towards making the film, and to honor that spirit, a historical and pious celebration is planned, filled with devotion, that is sure to make history.
The highly anticipated animated film of the year has now become the highest-grossing Indian animated film of all time. Mahavatar Narsimha has crossed the Rs 100 crore mark in India.
Even two weeks after its release, the film continues its strong box office run with impressive numbers, adding daily to its chart.
Produced by Kleem Productions and presented by Hombale Films, Mahavatar Narsimha continues to perform well at the box office. The film has earned Rs 91.25 crore in India within just 10 days of its release and has a worldwide total of Rs 112 crore.
The film explores the classic story of Prahlada and his despotic father Hiranyakashipu. Narsimha, Lord Vishnu's fourth avatar, arrives dramatically at the end of the story to restore dharma. Meanwhile, Mahavatar Narsimha is the first instalment in a ten-part cinematic journey that chronicles Lord Vishnu's avatars.
