K-drama star Lee Min Ho has recently mourned the loss of his beloved pet dog, Choco. The actor shared an emotional tribute for his furry friend and expressed gratitude for all the blissful times they had spent together.
Min Ho took to his Instagram and shared a series of photos and videos with Choco and penned in the tribute, “My beloved Choco has returned to nature after spending 16 years with us. I hope the time we shared was happy. Thank you to everyone who loved Choco.”
Several fans took to the comment section to extend heartfelt condolences and pen rest in peace.
The actor’s major loss came amidst his highly anticipated return to the big screen. Lee Min Ho is gearing up for his upcoming fantasy adventure, Omniscient Reader: The Prophecy, alongside Jisoo, Ahn Hyo-seop and Chae Soo-bin.
The upcoming film revolves around Kim Dok-ja, played by Ahn Hyo-seop, the only reader of an obscure web novel titled Three Ways to Survive the Apocalypse. Dok-ja, who has devoted 10 years to this story, is not a fan of the ending, so he sends an angry letter to the author, calling it the “worst novel ever."

However, his life suddenly turns upside down after the novel suddenly becomes reality, and its omnipotent hero, Yu Jung-hyeok aka Lee Min-ho, appears before Dok-ja.
The film will premiere on July 23, 2025, in Korea and subsequently in select regions internationally.
