Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi 2 has launched and the premier episode was a visual delight.
Smriti Irani is back in the television screens after a span of 25 years. Amar Upadhyay is seen alongside her and the show has a fresh feel to it. The first episode took the viewers back to the cherished memories of the original show with its title track.
It also introduced new characters in the story.
As the episode went on air the audience has given a positive response. The original show lasted for 8 long years however, this time it seems that Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi will be a finite show. Media reports suggest that it would have a run of 150 episodes.
Among the original cast is Hiten Tejwani who is seen as Karan Virani on the show. He plays the role of Tulsi’s son.
Shedding light on his experience playing the role of Karan and shooting for the show, TellyChakkar quoted Hiten as, “I feel truly blessed to be a part of the new season of Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi. Playing this character again in the new season doesn't feel like a comeback, it feels like home. I thoroughly enjoyed being back on screen, portraying Tulsi Virani’s son, and our bond is something the audience has seen and showered love upon.”

Hiten is seen with Gauri on the show which the audience adored. Speaking about the same, the publication quoted him, “Karan and Nandini, who met for the first time on the show years ago, are once again sharing the screen, and the audience is excited to see them back together. Characters may come and go, but each one brings its own uniqueness. Just like that, our characters too are not bidding goodbye. We will be back with a new layer and a deeper story to tell.”
