Kylie Jenner is reportedly feeling uneasy about her boyfriend, Timothée Chalamet, taking on romantic or intimate roles in his acting career. According to The U.S. Sun, the beauty mogul has asked the actor to steer clear of any future love or s*x scenes in his upcoming films.
A source close to the couple shared, “She doesn’t appreciate all the details and doesn’t want him to film any more s*x scenes moving forward. It has been the main source of tension between them lately.”
According to reports, this worry is the most significant problem the couple has encountered since they started dating. Jenner reportedly sees such portrayals through a more personal lens, even though Chalamet is still dedicated to exploring a wide range of roles as part of his profession, including those requiring romantic or explicit scenes. For Jenner, it causes emotional distress, but for Chalamet, it's all a part of the art.
After Gwyneth Paltrow spoke openly about how much the film industry has changed with regard to intimacy on set in an interview with Vanity Fair, things are thought to have gotten worse.
Reflecting on her earlier days in film, she said intimacy coordinators were virtually unheard of, recalling that actors would often just undress and start filming scenes without much preparation.
Paltrow added to the tension by talking about collaborating with Chalamet on their upcoming Darius Khondji-directed movie Marty Supreme.
She acknowledged that there are a lot of intimate scenes in the movie and commended Chalamet for being a professional and courteous co-star who takes his work seriously but is also fun to work with.
After reading Paltrow's remarks, Jenner reportedly became very agitated, especially when it came to the film's subject matter and the working relationship between the Oscar-winning actress and her boyfriend.
There have been rumours that Chalamet has been considering proposing to Jenner despite the increasing hostility. But according to reports, some of the actor's close friends have cautioned him against marrying into the Kardashian-Jenner family, saying it could be a "terrible mistake."
According to sources, Jenner, who is already under stress from Chalamet's growing fame, wants to keep their love life private and limited to their relationship in real life rather than showing it to viewers on screen.
