K-drama power couple Shin Min Ah and Kim Woo Bin are finally set to tie the knot after nearly a decade of being together. But as soon as the pair confirmed their December wedding date on November 20, speculation surfaced online suggesting that their decision may have been prompted by a premarital pregnancy. Their agency has now strongly refuted the rumours, urging the public to simply support the couple as they step into a new chapter.
AM Entertainment, which manages both actors, addressed the viral claims after Korean online communities began dissecting Shin Min Ah’s recent appearance at Disney+ Hong Kong’s The Remarried Empress event. Some detractors attempted to compare her physique to previous months, prompting baseless guesses about pregnancy.
In a firm statement to Xports News, the agency clarified, “There is absolutely no premarital pregnancy.”
They further shared limited wedding details, adding, “The wedding will take place at the Shilla Hotel. The officiant, emcee, and musical performances have not yet been decided.” While the ceremony remains private, a large gathering of the couple’s industry friends is expected to attend.
The love story between Shin Min Ah and Kim Woo Bin remains one of the most admired in the Korean entertainment industry. The two first met in 2015 during a commercial shoot, where they reportedly developed feelings almost instantly. Their agencies confirmed the relationship the same year, marking the beginning of a partnership that fans have followed closely for the past ten years.
Their bond only strengthened when Kim Woo Bin was diagnosed with nasopharyngeal cancer in 2017. Throughout his treatment and subsequent hiatus from the industry, Shin Min Ah stood by his side.
Now, after years of love, resilience, and growth, the couple is ready to formalise their relationship with a winter wedding on December 20.
