Korean actress Park Jin-joo to tie the knot on November 30: Here is what we know

This happy news comes five months after Park’s departure from the popular variety show Hangout with Yoo, drawing much attention from fans.

Korean actress Park Jin-joo, best known for her roles in Her Private Life and Our Beloved Summer, is all set to tie the knot next month.

On the morning of October 20, her agency Prain TPC announced, “On November 30, actor Park Jin-joo will be getting married to someone with whom she has shared a deep bond and trust for a long time.”

This happy news comes five months after Park’s departure from the popular variety show Hangout with Yoo, drawing much attention from fans.

According to the agency, Park’s fiancé is a non-celebrity, and the couple has decided to keep their wedding private. The ceremony will take place at an undisclosed venue in Seoul, attended only by close family members and friends.

Respecting her fiancé’s privacy, the agency requested fans and the media to understand their wish for a quiet celebration. “As the groom-to-be is not a public figure, we kindly ask for your understanding that the ceremony will be held in private,” their statement read.

Prain TPC also assured fans that Park Jin-joo will continue her acting career after marriage. She is currently preparing for the Seongju performance of Musical and the Number.

The agency added, “Even after marriage, Park Jin-joo will continue to meet fans through her acting with the same passion and sincerity. We sincerely thank you for your support and ask for your warm congratulations as she begins this new chapter in her life.”

Park Jin-joo made her film debut in Sunny (2011) and has since starred in popular dramas like Don’t Dare to Dream (2016) and Our Beloved Summer (2021–22). Since 2022, she has been a familiar face on the variety show Hangout with Yoo and continues to be active in television and entertainment.
