ENHYPEN fans have plenty to look forward to as the group prepares to step back into the spotlight early next year.

Excitement began building on 1 December after EDaily reported that ENHYPEN would be releasing a new album in mid-January.

Not long after, their agency BELIFT LAB confirmed the news, reassuring eager fans with the statement, “ENHYPEN will make a comeback in mid-January. Further details will be announced later.”

For many ENGENEs, this comeback feels especially meaningful. It marks the group’s first Korean release in around seven months, following their sixth mini album DESIRE : UNLEASH, which dropped back in June.

Teasers for the new project were already hinted at during their WALK THE LINE : FINAL world tour stop in Seoul on 26 October. Standing on stage at the KSPO DOME, the members looked both excited and proud as they told fans, “We are preparing an album that’s truly incredible,” promising to “return with a really cool album.”

This fresh chapter comes right on the heels of one of the biggest moments of their career so far. At the 2025 MAMA Awards on 28 November at Hong Kong’s Kai Tak Stadium, ENHYPEN achieved something extraordinary—they were named Artist of the Year.

For a group just five years into their journey, the milestone felt truly significant.

When their name rang out across the stadium, the whole atmosphere changed. Thousands of ENGENEs cheered so loudly that it seemed like the venue was vibrating. On stage, the members, who are usually poised and confident, appeared noticeably shaken.

Their eyes glistened with tears, not of shock, but of pure, overwhelming gratitude. It was the kind of emotion that only surfaces when a dream you’ve chased for years finally becomes real.

Leader Jungwon, still trying to steady his voice, captured that feeling perfectly. "I don't think I've ever wanted something this badly since we debuted. Thank you endlessly. We will work harder to show you amazing sides of us".

Sunghoon, reflecting on their fifth anniversary just two days away, added, "This feels like a gift from ENGENEs on our fifth anniversary. We've shared so many laughs, tears, and heartfelt moments. Thank you so much, we love you".

Jay then offered a heartfelt reminder of just how far they’ve come: "This award is the result of five years' worth of efforts. We didn't expect to win this, but today our dream came true thanks to you. This isn't the end-we will keep moving forward, proving ourselves and chasing more dreams. Be honest with your dreams. Every dream can become a reality".
