BTS star V — known offstage as Kim Taehyung — is making headlines once again, this time not for music, but for a stunning new real estate purchase.

The singer has reportedly bought a luxurious new apartment in Seoul’s exclusive Cheongdam-dong neighbourhood, and fans can’t stop talking about it.

As per Sports Chosun, V finalised the deal on 17 September, although he actually signed the contract back in May. The property officially became his this month after the balance payment was completed.

What’s even more impressive? According to the real estate documents, there’s “no establishment of a collateral security right on the register,” suggesting the home was bought outright — no loans involved.

So, what kind of home has the global icon chosen? The apartment spans a massive 273.96㎡ and reportedly cost 14.2 billion won — that’s roughly ₹89.8 crore. It features five spacious bedrooms and three bathrooms, but it’s the living room that truly steals the show.

With a panoramic window that’s six metres high and eleven metres wide, it offers sweeping views of the Han River. Clearly, it’s not just a home — it’s a sanctuary. The building is also home to other A-listers, including veteran actors Jang Dong-gun and Ko So-young.

This exciting update comes just a few months after V completed his mandatory military service. On 10 June, he stepped out of the Sports Park in Chuncheon, Gangwon Province, alongside fellow BTS member RM. Both were in uniform, warmly welcomed by fans from across the globe.

RM even played a tune on the saxophone, while V smiled and held bouquets of flowers — a sweet and emotional moment for ARMYs worldwide.

All members of BTS have now formally finished their service with his return.

And there’s more good news on the horizon. Reports suggest BTS is planning a full-group comeback in March 2026. “BTS’ comeback date is set for March next year,” a HYBE official told The Korea Herald. Another insider added, “While the exact date is unknown, I think it will be mid-March. I heard BTS is returning in the same month as their brother group Tomorrow X Together.”

Though BigHit hasn’t confirmed anything yet, fans are already counting down the days — and hoping for a surprise release before the big return.
