Fans noted that Taehyung had mentioned Conan Gray as one of his musical inspirations in a 2020 interview. Over the years, Conan returned the admiration on social media, liking posts and sharing messages. But until this event, the two had never met in person. “When the clip of their encounter went viral… fans across platforms celebrated the meeting as ‘bestie-coded,’” wrote one outlet.
