The incident unfolded just as the livestream began, when the two members noticed something odd: the viewer count displayed only one person watching. Jimin, who was lying on the floor, immediately reacted in disbelief.

“Only 1 person joined,” he exclaimed, clearly stunned by the number. RM, noticeably more composed, reminded him that viewer counts often take a moment to load. But Jimin wasn’t convinced, and added, “The network doesn't really work here, but there's really just 1 viewer,” still trying to wrap his head around the situation.

Leaning into the moment, RM decided to escalate the joke. “Let’s call it quits on our team. Time to disband?” he declared with a straight face, leaving Jimin shocked before bursting into laughter. “What do you mean, time to disband?” Jimin responded, playfully shoving him and laughing harder. RM wrapped up the joke by saying, “Because there's no one to watch us now [so we must disband].”

Fans noted how effortlessly the pair joked about something as serious as disbandment, showing their confidence in BTS’ strength as a team.

Not long after, Jin entered the chat, teasing the duo for starting the livestream right after he left. RM and Jimin confirmed that all three had been practising together earlier, even revisiting some of their older tracks. As the session continued, the conversation shifted to their upcoming album.

RM admitted he was “surprised” by how good Jimin sounded on their new music, while Jimin took the chance to praise V’s vocals. Jin, in a previous interview, had also spoken about the album’s evolution. While the rest of the members had been working in Los Angeles, he was busy on his solo tour. But when he eventually joined them to listen to the tracks, he was stunned by how artistically complete they already were.
