BLACKPINK’s Jennie has once again proven why she remains one of the most influential figures in global music.
This time, the achievement comes from her long-awaited solo full-length album Ruby, which has already begun to make history even before its full promotional cycle unfolds.
Earlier this week, the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) updated its official website with news that left fans celebrating worldwide. Jennie’s pre-release track “ExtraL (feat. Doechii),” taken from her debut solo album, has been certified Gold.
With this most recent achievement, Jennie now has an astounding four RIAA certifications, breaking the previous record for the most RIAA-certified songs by a K-pop soloist.
As per Koreaboo, before this, she had already earned a Platinum certification for “One Of The Girls”, her collaboration with The Weeknd and Lily-Rose Depp, along with Gold certifications for “Mantra” and “Like JENNIE.”
Fans will find this moment even more memorable because three songs from Jennie's first full solo album, Ruby, have received RIAA certifications.
Based on digital sales and streaming equivalents in the US, the RIAA grants certifications: Gold for more than 500,000 units, Platinum for more than one million, Multi-Platinum for more than two million, and Diamond for an astounding ten million units.
Reaching these milestones is a significant accomplishment that demonstrates the global appeal of Jennie's music.

As Jennie builds a new chapter of her artistic journey through Ruby, her achievements are shaping not just her own story but the evolving narrative of K-pop on the world stage.
At the same time, Jennie has once again sparked heated conversations online following BLACKPINK’s recent concerts in the Philippines. The group performed two back-to-back shows, each featuring solo stages for the members.
During the second concert, Jennie’s solo segment went viral, reigniting old criticisms from some corners of the internet, with claims that she is a “lazy” or “unenthusiastic” performer.
Despite the mixed reactions, it’s clear that Jennie’s influence, talent, and record-breaking achievements continue to dominate discussions in music circles around the world, proving that she remains one of the most powerful forces in K-pop today.
