A story that skilfully combines intense action with emotional depth is the main reason for the high level of anticipation surrounding the K-drama Good Boy.
The SLL-produced series, which debuted on Prime Video, revolves around a group of former athletes who are hired by the police because of their athletic abilities.
The main cast of Good Boy includes, Park Bo-gum, Kim So-hyun, Lee Sang-yi, Heo Seong-tae, and Tae Won-seok.
Each actor brings a unique energy to their role. When asked about their personal strengths, they were refreshingly candid.
Acknowledging the global rise of K-drama fandom, especially in India, the cast expressed enthusiasm about visiting the country and possibly collaborating on Indian projects. Sang-yi told India Today, “I love dancing and music. I’m going to go there.” Won-seok quipped, “I lift my mood with Indian curry. I’d love to taste the original.”
Bo-gum added, “India isn’t just about great food. It has so much to offer. If given the chance, I’d love to travel there. Hopefully, maybe all of us, the Good Boy team, can star in an Indian musical film altogether.”
He concluded on a heartfelt note: “What's also really amazing is we didn't have a lot of chances to speak to or meet with Indian fans or the Indian media. And so, to be able to do something like this because you showed so much love for K-dramas, we are very grateful. It's a huge honour, and I feel very blessed.”

Park Bo-gum, portraying a boxing medallist also said, “Personally in the story, my character is the one in charge of fist fights. I think as an actor, what I am good at is having that active energy, being action-first, and being very agile, I would say that's one of my strengths.”
New episodes of Good Boy drop every Friday on Prime Video.
