South Korean actor Kim Soo-hyun is once again at the centre of controversy, with reports from India Today confirming that his segments on K-pop star G-Dragon's variety show, Good Day, have been completely removed.

This development comes amidst the ongoing controversy surrounding the actor's alleged past relationship with the late actress Kim Sae-ron, which has sparked widespread media attention.

The controversy stems from accusations that Kim Soo-hyun was romantically involved with Kim Sae-ron when she was a minor. It was reported that the two began their relationship when Soo-hyun was 27 and Sae-ron was just 15, leading to significant backlash. However, Kim Soo-hyun has vehemently denied these claims, defending his actions publicly.

As the scandal continues to dominate the headlines, Kim Soo-hyun’s presence has been entirely removed from the latest episodes of Good Day.

While the episode featured segments with other stars such as G-Dragon, Code Kunst, Im Si-wan, Jung Hae-in, Hwang Kwang-hee, and Jo Se-ho, Soo-hyun’s segments have notably been cut.

Earlier, during a press conference, Kim Soo-hyun addressed the ongoing allegations in detail, expressing his sorrow and regret.

He said, “I am sorry for causing so much pain to many people. I also feel sad that the deceased seems unable to rest in peace. The deceased and I dated for about one year, four years ago, before the Queen of Tears aired. At that time, I denied the rumours.”

He further defended himself against the accusations of dating a minor, clarifying, “But, it is not true that I dated her when she was underage. It is also not true that she made the fatal decision due to financial pressure from my agency. It took me so long to finally stand here.”
